So the YA program's got a name (The YA Zoo: if you've ever been in the same room as us, you'd know why), and our very own blog. Check back frequently for program announcements, and feel free to comment with suggestions and/or opinions (everybody's got one).
Schedule of Events:
January 24-- 6:30-8:00: Game night in the library basement. You're free to come and play cards (MtG or just regular playing cards) or come and play DDR! You might want to bring a camera to this one, folks. :D
January 26-- 4:00-5:00: The Zoo board meeting. If you want to help us plan for future events, then this is the meeting for you. Right now, the Zoo board consists of anyone who wants to show up, so don't be left out!
** Starting next week, I'll be posting when we put new YA books onto the shelves (and maybe where to look for other graphic novels that aren't in the YA Graphic Novel section), so stay tuned!
** If you're interested in watching Anime at future game nights, let us know! Several Anime distributors will send us free Anime DVDs if we have more than 15 active members. Also, if you'd like to show something from your own Anime collection (no bootlegs or fansubs please), send us a list of what you have. We must ask permission from the Anime distributors (sometimes by snail-mail) before we can show anything. Plus, some companies will send us free promotional stuff if we ask early, so get those lists in!

i think that we should get the dvd of anime movies because their much better than vhs movies.
hey will their be snacks on game night because we can get togeher and talk about what were going to do how were going to do it and do you want us to bring some more people with us to have a bigger group.

If you don't want to play DDR, then absolutely feel free to bring something else to play! (But trust me, even watching other people play is silly and fun.)
