Great News!

We received the Funimation packet in the mail yesterday, complete with 20 starter packs of the new Full Metal Alchemist trading card game. They've given us an instruction sheet too.. anyone interested in a FMA-TCG game night?

Speaking of Funimation: Anime night is Tuesday! Don't forget!

And now for cool game night news, we're adding two extra game nights, starting in May. Game nights will be on the first, second and fourth Thursday of the month. (May 4th, May 11th, May 25th) Anime night will continue to be on the fourth Tuesday of the month.

Also, the library Myspace account has been approved. Stay tuned for more details!

Coming soon to a library near you...

Pirate Night!! Yes, you heard right. On May 18th, from 6-8, Pirates will be invading the library basement. There will be skits, songs, and people dressed in funny clothes. Arrr.

The Anime chosen for the summer reading program was Cowboy Bebop, Inu Yasha, Ah! My Goddess, and Spirited Away.

Other ideas for programs were Music Night, Yoga Night, and a Superhero party (wear your superhero costume, special powers optional.) If enough people are interested, we will consider adding a Thursday program in addition to the Game Night and Anime Night Tuesdays.

For poetry night we are planning to do a short reader's theatre piece. If you are interested in a part (no memorization required) please talk to either Carol or myself. We still have four parts available!

Don't forget, Tuesday is Game Night (with the return of DDR!) and April 18th is Poetry Night! Bring a friend!
